PIC FROM CATERS NEWS – (PICTURED: Inside the phone box) – Bright red telephone boxes may now be a thing of the past, but a small town in Yorkshire has put one to good use and created a home for what could be the smallest art gallery in the world. The iconic BT phone box gallery is different from most, as it is completely free, open all day every day and is often full to capacity. It can be found in the Yorkshire town of Settle, and has affectionately been named the Gallery on the Green, by the locals who own it. The box was purchased as part of a scheme called Adopt a Kiosk in 2009 and since then has put on ten exhibitions in the tiny space inside. SEE CATERS COPY
